Who is Go Beyond Borders?
In the summer of 2024, we just returned from two nations - Croatia and Bulgaria where we held open air festivals in villages in the Balkans.
Bulgaria Festival Recap
What’s exciting is in our first location in Bulgaria we worked with brand new contacts. Even with 4 changes to our venue sight in two weeks (due to government), we were able to pull off an amazing festival with over 400 new people attending. The Pastor is planning to plant a 2nd church right there, and this was an opportunity to reach into the area and introduce themselves. They were thrilled with the turnout, stating that most of the people there that evening they had never met or seen. This was the beginning of a church plant and what a way to start it off! 20 years ago, these Pastors started a village church and a construction business, both were successful, but the business grew faster. As a result, the community knew them more as business owners than Pastors, but they said after the festival people will know them as Pastors. God is putting together something special. The actual impact and fruit of this festival will not be known in full for months as reports are still coming in. Stay tuned as God continues to bring the results.
Croatia Festival Recap
Croatia was a landmark festival for us - it was the first one outside of Bulgaria in the Balkans. We went to the town of Varazdin, Croatia where there had never been a festival done with both the gospel being preached and healing too. Our contacts and the local Pastors, many from different denominations, were thrilled with the results and in full unity on the healing message - an answer to prayer! We look forward to seeing the full impact of this festival soon. The gospel was preached, and healing went forth to over a hundred people in an area that had never seen this done before. Croatia and this area will not the same.

Balkans Harvest Plan
The expansion
The expansion
- 2-night festivals in villages across the country into the most unreached people throughout the Balkan. We have a plan to reach 2-3 villages in 1 week. Trimmed down costs for the festivals to maximize our efforts. We have identified target villages for the next multiple trips. These are highly unreached areas compared to the larger cities, and therefore have had minimal outreach, if any, in them. Our goal is to come alongside pastors in these areas and bring them support along with carrying out the 2-night festivals.
- Crusade Team - The local church in Sofia is becoming our crusade team, with a bible school this opportunity to travel with us is giving them a hands-on opportunity to do the work of the ministry. We’ve had up to 10 people with us on each trip in 2023, each with varying degrees of experience. But they not only ministered but also did the sound, pictures, and videography. Our goal is to train them in every aspect and within a short time set them up to continue while we go and duplicate this in another country.
- Crusade Director - George Hazarbassanov will be taking the lead on this aspect. He and his family have accompanied us on every trip so far and have caught the vision and are perfect to run side by side with us.
- The Team - We have been bringing a few key individuals with us. The goal is to start doing more on-the-ground trainings in key areas as we grow.
